Tricentenario is a neighborhood in the city of Medellin (Colombia), founded in 1978. Its name is due to the commemoration in the 70s of the 300 years of Medellin. Tricentenario has 90 apartment buildings, each one with 20 apartments, for a total of 1.800 apartments and approximately 10.000 habitants. Tricentenario is recognized for its great diversity of flora and fauna, which has earned it the name “green lung” of Medellín.
The Zarigüeya Group is a Social Organization of the Tricentenario, which aims to promote empathy and sensitivity for life in all its manifestations (nature, animals and humans), mainly through of activities environmental, artistic, cultural, sports, recreational and social. Our great tools are imagination and creativity, with which we hope to transcend and leave a mark on society.
