This is the view from the K36JH tower atop 4775' Quartzsite Peak in Oro Grande, California looking down at Victorville, Apple Valley and the Mojave River Valley. At night the lights of interstate highway 15 are seen as it heads from the south near Phelan thru Victorville and Apple Valley heading north towards Nevada and Las Vegas some 160 miles away and coming from Los Angeles 60 miles to the south.
