Once owned by the City of Edmundston, the Edmundston Airport is now being maintained by Madawaska Airport inc., a non-profit organization. In more recent times, Madawaska Airport inc. has formed a partnership with Groupe Regenord to further develop the airport.
As for current plans, Madawaska Airport inc. and Groupe Regenord seek to make the airport a cornerstone for the region and to ensure that emergency services can always have access to it. With its increasing popularity, the Edmundston Airport has a bright future ahead!
